Shades of Cool

imageFor me the perfect outfit must have at least one article of black, and I must feel great whilst wearing it. This outfit fits both of those criteria!

This outfit has been on of my favorites all summer so I thought I’d share it with all of you!

To start off we have a Divided Long T-Shirt from H&M, then paired it with my favorite Light Washed Shorts from Forever21

For the shoes I decided to go with my Tristan Strappy Sandals by Christian Siriano

To top off the look I chose my Studded Wide-Brim Fedora from Forever21

imageMy phone is accessorized with a  CaseCrown Dual Tone Slider case

imageI cannot live with chapped lips, so I chose my C.O. Bigelow VanillaMint Supreme 2x Lip Shine

I hope you enjoyed this look and if you would like to see more stay tuned!

Prom Makeup Tutorial: Blue Edition

Hello Everyone!

Today’s makeup is going to be a glammed out prom makeup tutorial. I chose to do this for all the girls out there who are about to be going to prom within the next few weeks.

So without further adieu, let’s get started!

I started off with my basic BB Cream in the shade Beige from Eyes Lips Face Cosmetics, then filled in my brows with their Brow kit in Light.

I then took the lightest blue in E.L.F’s Smokey Eye Palette, and used it as my base/ transition color.

Applying the shadow to my brow bone down to the crease of my eye with my Deluxe Brush, and blended it all out.

Then taking the next darkest shade of blue, i added that just below my brown bone and blended down.

Taking my Crease Brush I then add the darkest blue/black to the outer corner of my eye blending in to the crease.

This creates a nice smokey effect, but we are far from done!

With my Liner/Shader Brush I pick up this Gun Metal/Silver shade and put it on the main part of my eyelid.

Highlighting my eyes with the lightest shimmer shade from the palette, just for some added drama.

I finish off the shadows by taking the angled brush and smudging the lightest blue below my lower lash line, and taking the darkest shade right to the lash line.

I am left with the completed shadow look.

I then use my Pompous lip pencil by Younique to line my lips.

I then take my black pencil in the shade Perfect and line the corners of my mouth blending out .

Finishing off the lip look with my Studio Matte Lip Color by E.L.F. in the shade Wine.

I then took my E.L.F. Expert Liquid Liner and did a nice winged look.

I added two coats of my Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lash Mascara and the eyes are complete!

All that was left was a light contour, and the look was complete!

So to all my prom goers I hope you have a wonderful time! Make sure to dance your butts off for me.

As Always,

Stay Fabulous,

Purple and Gun-metal Eye Makeup Tutorial

Hello Everyone! I am truly sorry I have been M.I.A. for so long, but today I am back. Today’s post is going to be a makeup tutorial, for which I do not have a name. So without further adieu let’s get started!

Today I have started out with a basic BB Cream from E.L.F. Cosmetics in the shade Beige, as well as my brows filled in with their brow kit in the Light.

I then proceeded with Younique’s Moodstruck Precision Pencil Eye Liner in the color Perfect. I lined my water-line and a little under my lower lash line as well.

After I lined my eyes I took a bone white shade as a transition color, and applied it with my Younique Deluxe Brush right to my brow bone blending down unto my eyelid.01385325d091746ac1049eb7016b711f84d481153e0150c7cd92c75a518360fdbd1ba0911e734001484b

Finishing with my transition color I moved on to this rich purple shade, swiping it on my crease and blending down onto my eyelid. After my purple was down I took the dark purple/black shade positioned next to it and put it on the outer corner of my eye, with my Crease Brush from Younique, blending in to the purple and onto my eyelid.

The shimmer silver was then blended into the gun-metal starting at the inner corner of my eye as a highlight. I also go back in with a little of the purple with an angled brush apply it underneath the black liner.

012fdd307d4a14ea52af058d5a73f0db3249c45fe8Next was my favorite part! LASHES LASHES LASHES! Of course I am using my favorite mascara by Younique! This mascara is the Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes. I do one eye at a time and start by putting a solid coat of the transplanting gel, shaking my hand and rolling out as I reach the ends of my lashes. Then letting it get tack for a few seconds I open my fibers, repeating the same process.

Just to prove to you how amazing the mascara is here are some photos of one lash with one coat and the other completely bare.

I of course repeat the same process on the other eye and then we are complete!

I hope everyone enjoyed and make sure to tag me in your photos if you try this look at home!

P.S.- This lip tutorial will be up soon!

So as always

Cosmetology Fame

Fame by definition is the condition of being known or talked about by many people. In today’s world of apps, and social media, fame is seems like something that is easy to come by. For me when I think about ‘famous stylists’ I lean more towards Instagram and who catches my attention! A few of my favorites include Guy Tang, Rebecca Taylor, and Ash Fortis. I mean the list goes on and on!

So today I just felt like sharing my favorite works by some of my favorite hairstylists!

So above is one of my all time favorites done by Linh Phan or @bescene on Instagram. Of course this is one of the MANY from him that I love! So go check him out!

Another of favorite stylists is Ash Fortis or @xostylistxo on Instagram. She can do no wrong in my eyes and you have to follow her! This is one of my favorite uses of peachy coral tones! she does a brilliant job of making this color look kind of natural on this client.

Here we have some work by Ricky Zito formally known as @hairgod_zito on Instagram. I simply love the way he blends the rosey pink with the silver! If you know me at all you know that silver is my favorite hair color and pinks are quickly joining silver status. So make sure you go check out Ricky!

Of course if you don’t recognize this next name I don’t know how you survive! Guy Tang is my role model and inspiration behind all of my hair explorations. The next few photos are some of my absolute favorites by him!

I love this silver balayage by the balayage king himself!

This Lilac/Lavender Balayage is also a huge winner in my book!

I am an ever growing fan of rose/blush tones. Guy Tang does a wonderful job of blending the many shades in to this gorgeous hair color!

Then we have the genius behind YouTube sensation Tyler Oakley’s hair. Mr. Kyle Krieger is definitely my favorite hair stylist to look at hands down. He does a great job cutting fades, pomps and quiffs, but he also dabbles a little in color as well!

Here you see Tyler rocking a turquoise!

We then have Mrs. Rebecca Taylor or as she’s known on Instagram @vividartisticdesigns . Rebecca is a close friend of Guy Tang and when these two get together magical things happen! If you aren’t already you must go check her out!

Here she is with her self dyed pastels!

Last but certainly not least we have the oh so fabulous Kait Marie. She is the creator of YouTube Superstar Jenna Marbles hair color explosions! Kait’s Instagram handle is @kaitmairehair and following her will greatly benefit your life.

Here is a back view of all the genius hair colors Kait created on Jenna!!

So as always I hope all of you wonderful readers have a wonderful day and be sure to…
